  • CDO is introducing a new resource this year, peer mock interviews.  Experienced peer interviewers will be available by appointment for half hour mock interviews all year when classes are in session.

PCA (Peer Career Advisor) Cortney Ahern

Cortney is a first year MEM interested in agriculture and food security. Before coming to F&ES, she spent 7 years working for non-profits and think tanks at the intersection of food access, agricultural development, and community engagement. Cortney’s appetite has guided her from her home state of Minnesota, to apprenticing on a family farm in New York, to catching red ants in the jungles of northeastern Thailand. She’s looking forward to serving as a Peer Career Advisor and encouraging her classmates to discover their future career paths!

PMI (Peer Mock Interviewer) Peter Ludwig

Peter is a first year MESc interested in community conservation and social justice.  Before coming to F&ES, he spent 7 years in hazardous waste and environmental waste consulting in New York City and 10 years running energy efficiency programs in affordable housing for Elevate Energy in Chicago.  He is excited about leadership, team dynamics and organizational development.  Peter has a background in geology and environmental science and has done ecological and geological field work in Tanzania, New York City, the Rocky Mountains & Nova Scotia.  He is excited to get to know his fellow F&ES peers and hopes to be helpful in their next steps.

Hannah is a second year MEM focused on water resource management.  Wetlands are Hannah's passion, and she holds a professional certification in wetland science.  Before coming to F&ES, Hannah spent five years doing business and technology development for a tech startup in California.  Hannah is invested in the success of all her amazing peers here at F&ES and is excited to use her resume and cover letter reviewing skills to help you land that interview, and her interviewing skills to prepare you to bring your best self to the interview room.

PCA (Peer Career Advisor) Nathalie Woolworth

Nathalie is a second year Master of Environmental Management student focusing on land conservation at F&ES. She is especially interested in conservation finance, and building strong organizations and a strong sector to carry out conservation work. Prior to Yale, Nathalie worked for a land trust in Maine, and as a management consultant for non-profit organizations in Boston. She holds a degree in Cultural Anthropology from Bates College, where she also worked as a Peer Writing Assistant for three years. Nathalie enjoys reviewing and helping to improve written work, and is excited to support F&ESers looking to land their dream jobs!
