The Yale Office of Sustainability on April 22 honored several members of the F&ES community, including James Ball ’16 M.E.M. and members of Yale's Sustainability Strategic Plan 3.0 working group, for their contributions to sustainability at Yale during the 2015-16 academic year. Awardees were selected based on their contributions toward achieving goals laid out in Yale’s Sustainability Strategic Plan 2013-2016 (YSSP 3.0).

Ball, a second-year F&ES student and green buildings expert, was recognized for his work on energy and greenhouse gas emissions. A member of the F&ES Environmental Stewardship Committee, he has led two years of multi-disciplinary research on the performance of Kroon Hall.
