Arborist
Position Description:

Individual plans and coordinates vegetation management services in an assigned geographic area or process and works collaboratively with Utility Arborists and the alliance tree contractor in functional areas that include budget, performance, work scope and quality.

Primary duties include but are not limited to: field quality assurance of tree work; providing tree work cost estimates; coordinating emergency restoration; responding to internal and external customer concerns; and working collaboratively with the alliance tree contractor to focus on continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Arboriculture, Business Management, Engineering, Sciences or related field. Preference giving to individuals with utility arboriculture experience with a Connecticut Arborist license, a Connecticut Category 6 ROW license or ISA Certified Arborist. ***Must hold a valid motor vehicle operator license.***
