10 Ways to Reconnect to YSE

Are you looking to contribute your time, talent and energy to YSE? Below is a menu of ways for you to re-connect with classmates and contribute toward YSE’s mission to educate and train the environmental leaders of the future.

1. Network with Alums

2. Serve your Class

  • Serve as a Class Agent.
  • Serve as a Class Secretary.
  • Serve as a Reunion promoter and organizer.

3. Support the YSE Annual Fund

  • Roughly 80% of YSE students receive financial aid. Contribute toward the approximately $250,000 in critical unrestricted funding for student scholarships and support.
  • Boost YSE participation in the Annual Fund—only 30-32% of alumni currently contribute to the Fund.
  • Join Sand County Society—become one of the 100+ alumni leadership donors giving $1000 or more each year ($500 for the last five graduating classes).
  • Make an Annual Fund contribution now

4. Become a mentor—join the Environmental Leadership Mentoring (ELM) program

5. Come Back to Campus

6. Represent YSE in Your Community

7. Volunteer for the YSE Alumni Association Board

  • Nominate yourself or someone you know to serve as a Board member; contact alumni.yse@yale.edu
  • Volunteer as an external alumni volunteer to a Board committee: nominating committee, programs, university engagement, or specialized ad hoc committee by contacting alumni.yse@yale.edu

  • Sign up for one of many webinar presentations and multimedia offerings at YSE. From your home or workplace you can listen in on talks from environmental leaders and academic researchers on a variety of topics. Visit the School calendar to see upcoming events.
