Emily Auerbach Headshot

Peer Career Advisor Emily Auerbach

Emily is a third year MEM/MBA joint degree interested in building purpose driven brands. Before coming to Yale, Emily worked at the World Cocoa Foundation on sustainable supply chains for the cocoa and chocolate industry. She also worked as an edible landscape strategist for her alma mater, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Emily has spent her summers as a brand management intern at Pepperidge Farm, where she worked in the Distinctive Cookies division, and at Danone North America, where she worked on the Plant Based Yogurt Innovation team. Emily is thrilled to help her fellow FESers pursue career opportunities with confidence through her resume and cover letter reviews.

Peer Career Advisor Chris Perkins

Chris is a joint degree MEM/MBA between the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and Yale School of Management, and is exploring the economic and cultural transition towards outdoor recreation and conservation. He spent the summer of 2019 working for the U.S. House of Representatives Natural Resources Committee. Prior to Yale, Chris lived in Jackson, WY, and worked as a field educator for the Teton Science Schools and National Outdoor Leadership School, leading expeditions up to a month long in the Wind River Range. He also worked for the Center for Jackson Hole and SHIFT Festival, which explores the intersection of outdoor recreation, conservation, and next-generation relevancy. Chris also provides logistical support to the Outdoor CEO Diversity Pledge.

Peer Career Advisor Humna Sharif

Humna is a first year MEM specializing in Water Resources Science and Management. She graduated with a bachelors of Environmental Science, and Environmental Thought and Practice from the University of Virginia. She has previous experience working for the career center at her undergraduate institution. After graduation she worked in Washington D.C. for a year at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation as a water intern and grants administrator. Humna enjoys drawing and exploring the outdoors in her free time, and is always ready for a game of softball. She looks forward to working with fellow FESers to help them apply to all the great opportunities coming through CDO.
