About

I study the role of agriculture and food systems in environmental conservation. I am a Senior Scientist of Agriculture and Food Systems at The Nature Conservancy, as well as an Associate Research Scientist and Lecturer at the Yale School of the Environment. My disciplinary expertise is in soil science and ecology, and I work extensively on the impact of agriculture on soil health, as well as the opportunities that soil systems play in environmental restoration.
